  Taft Athletic Trainer Resigns

  TAFT - Officials with Taft ISD accepted the resignation of Athletic Trainer Salvador Diaz at last night's school board meeting.

  Earlier in the month, a 15-Year old Taft student accused Diaz of inappropriate behavior with her, and he was put on leave.

  At this time, the school has made no decision about hiring a new trainer to fill the now vacant position.

  CORPUS CHRISTI - On Monday afternoon the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches released their final boys rankings, with three area teams cracking the Top 25.
