JIM WELLS COUNTY - A big rig driver hauling a load of produce from the Rio Grande Valley to San Antonio flipped his truck on FM 624, three miles west of Highway 281 this morning.
The driver tells us that around 7:30 a.m. he noticed a car using the center stripe in the road as a guide during foggy conditions.
He says he swerved to move out of the car's path, but went to far off the road and the tractor-trailer tipped over.
Authorities tell us the other vehicle did not stop after the crash.
Workers spent the morning off loading avocados, cabbages, carrots and limes from the vehicle so they can move on to their destination.
The truck driver was not injured.
