Saratoga Boulevard Sign Work Delayed by Rains

Rain Delays Saratoga Median Work

CORPUS CHRISTI - The plans to put new signs in place along the medians of Saratoga Boulevard will be delayed due to recent rains.

Texas Department of Transportation crews installed the medians and turnarounds last year in an effort to improve the flow of traffic and to reduce accidents.

However, the changes left many drivers confused causing them to get their vehicles stuck as they attempted to make u-turns.

TxDOT wants to repave parts of the road and put in place new signs to clear up any confusion. Officials hope to have the work wrapped up by the end of March.
