Ray H.S. Student Attacked on Campus

Attempted Abduction at Ray High School - KZTV

CORPUS CHRISTI - Police have arrested a former Ray High School student accused of trying to drag a female student off of the campus this afternoon.

After the girl was able to escape from the suspect, a CCISD police officer was involved in a car chase with the man that ended a short distance from the campus.

The suspect faces charges of assault and evading arrest. We're told the suspect had already been banned from coming on the campus.

The girl was not seriously injured in the attack.
