CORPUS CHRISTI - For all you long distance drivers there is good news on close to 1,500 miles of Texas Interstate Highways.
On Monday, the Texas Department of Transportation will begin the process of replacing signs to reflect a new speed limit of 75 miles per hour.
One of the affected roads is Interstate 37, but beware the speed limit increase does not go into effect until the signs are changed.
Last year, state legislators approved increasing the speed limits on all Interstate Highways and some State Highways in Central Texas.
