City is Offering a New Unique Type of Martial Arts Class for Teens & Adults

CORPUS CHRISTI - Spirit & Strength Martial Arts Class is now offered by the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department for youth and adults on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:45pm-6:45pm at the Lindale Recreation Center, 3133 Swantner. Members of Genesis Martial Arts International, Kyumson Taekwondo Alliance, Christian Martial Artists of America, and United Taekwondo Alliance bring to you this unique type of martial arts curriculum that focuses on the inner strength of the individual and gears them spiritually in a positive direction. Students will have the opportunity to get involved in this fast growing program that helps build character, self-esteem, and confidence. Professional instruction is provided by four-time State Champion and 2nd degree black belt Vicki Dees who has over 15 years of teaching experience. Cost is $25 per month for one day per week lessons; $45 per month for two days per week lessons; or a $7.50 drop-in fee; plus a $25 registration fee which includes a t-shirt, student handbook, and a 1st rank test.
