Aransas Pass Native to Compete in NBC's "Ammo and Attitude"

Local Woman Prepares for "Ammo and Attitude" Competition

ARANSAS PASS - A Coastal Bend resident is gearing up for the ultimate outdoor challenge on season 3 of "Ammo and Attitude" on the NBC Sports Network.

Crystal Schoen, an Aransas Pass native, included video of her riding 4-wheelers, hunting and fishing for her application to the show.

The program features six women from across the country competing in a survival challenge. Competitions include shooting, hunting techniques and testing their survival skills.

Schoen says she's spending a lot of time getting ready, "My life has changed a little bit. I'm definitely hitting the gym quite a bit and trying to go to the shooting ranges and learning more about archery as much as I can."

Filming of season three gets underway this spring and will air this fall on the NBC Sports Network.
