  HS Golf: State Tournament Results 1A-3A

  AUSTIN, TX -- Local athletes wrapped up their appearance at the State Golf Tournaments.  The lone local team to compete, Woodsboro, placed 8th in the Girls 1A Standings with a combined score of 899 in two rounds of play.

  AUSTIN - Day one of the 2012 State Tennis Championships saw Rockport nab a pair of singles victories, before falling in the Semifinals. All in all five area standouts made the trip to Austin, but none survived to the Championship round on Tuesday, below are the results.
